Admission and application
Applicants with degrees from outside Oman need the Ministry equivalency; all certificates attested.
Language requirement: IELTS Academic or TOEFL iBT certificate required; conditional submission at IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL 69 for English-taught master's in the 2026/27 announcement; Petroleum Geosciences MSc: TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6.0.
- Apply through the SQU enrolment/SIS system (select 'International'; passport number for applicants outside Oman).
- Upload attested certificates, equivalency letter from the Ministry for degrees from abroad, English certificate and documents.
- Pay the OMR 10 non-refundable application fee per programme.
- Track the application; admitted students compete for scholarships.
