What to watch for in Work and stay
- Work limits depend on the type of student residence permit; verify the official rule.
- Do not plan for work rights to cover all living costs.
- Post-study stay options depend on conditions; research them early.

Finland
Working while studying in Finland and staying after graduation.
Students with a Finnish residence permit for studies may work on average up to 30 hours per week, and more in some weeks or during holidays if the average stays within the limit. Do not plan to fund tuition or living costs from part-time work.
After graduation: A permit to look for work or start a business can be granted for a maximum of 2 years (24 months) after a Finnish degree; eligibility depends on Migri requirements (Migri page itself not opened).
