Admission and application

2026-27 Fall second-application quotas are small (e.g., Computer Engineering 3, Electronics and Communication Eng. 8, Civil Eng. 6, Cyber Security Eng. 4, Architecture 2, Industrial Design 4). Applications uploaded online (PDF), up to 3 choices; usually August. The announcement with the full valid-score table could not be retrieved.

Language requirement: Own proficiency exam, TOEFL iBT (old scale 72-90 / 91-120 bands; new 1-6 scale bands 4-4.5 and 5-5.5 after 21 Jan 2026), PTE Academic (59-75 / 76-90 from 2026-27 fall), OTE Advanced 111-140 / 141-170, e-Tep 74-96 / 98-118; validity 2 years; TOEFL/PTE/OTE must be taken at state-university test centres; no TOEFL Home Edition. Students without a score do one year of English prep. Turkish C1 certificate (ITU TÖMER or Yunus Emre Institute only since 2023-24) within one year for 30%-English programmes.
