Core documents
- Passport
- Diploma and transcript
- Language test result
- Motivation letter and CV
- Reference letters
- Portfolio or GRE/GMAT if the programme requires it
Certification and translation
- Apostille: many countries ask for apostilled diplomas; ask your institution how long it takes.
- Sworn/notarised translation: verify the format and language the target university wants.
- Equivalence/recognition: some countries ask for extra evaluation (for example anabin/uni-assist in Germany, CIMEA in Italy).
Plan
Apostille, translation and evaluation can take weeks. Start at least 3–4 months before the application date and compare each document with the target university's official list.
