English-taught programmes usually require a result such as IELTS Academic or TOEFL iBT; the minimum score varies by country, university and programme. Local-language requirements may also apply, for example DSH or TestDaF for German-taught programmes in Germany. Some universities accept alternatives such as the Duolingo English Test while others accept only specific tests.
The right test and timing matter: results are typically valid for two years, and visa applications may have a separate requirement (for example a Secure English Language Test for UK visas). We build the preparation with you: level check, study plan and test date selection.
