## **Admission and application** Programme-specific joint degrees can have separate fees (e.g. European Mining Course 17,000 EUR for 2026 intake, search snippet). **Language requirement:** IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with writing 6.0; TOEFL iBT total 4.5 with 4.0 per subtest (tests from 21 Jan 2026) or 92 with writing 22 (earlier); PTE Academic 68 with writing 61; Cambridge C1/C2; YKI level 5. No Duolingo. Scores valid 2 years. Finnish/English-medium degrees exempt. TOEFL Essentials/ITP not accepted. 1. Apply during the admission period via Aalto's application form (Studyinfo for bachelor's joint application). 2. Upload motivation letter, CV, AI-use declaration and degree documents; official English test scores received by 12 Jan 2027 15:00 (UTC+2). 3. Apply for the Excellence Scholarship in the same application. 4.
