# **Morocco: Work and stay**

Working while studying in Morocco and staying after graduation.

## **Work rights and after graduation**

Law 02-03 art. 13 distinguishes cards by purpose: 'student' cards are for study with sufficient means; a card for professional activity subject to authorisation is a separate category. Art. 40 allows a short-stay visa to be cancelled if the holder pursues gainful activity without authorisation. No student-specific hours cap or work permission was found in the law text or on reachable official pages.

**After graduation:** No official post-study stay provision found.

## What to watch for in Work and stay

- Work limits depend on the type of student residence permit; verify the official rule.
- Do not plan for work rights to cover all living costs.
- Post-study stay options depend on conditions; research them early.

Information on this page is compiled from official sources and was verified on the date shown. Fees, dates and visa rules change often; check official sources before applying. Empty fields have not been verified yet; ask our advisor for the current information.
